Heel Protectors
Heel protectors are devices or accessories designed to protect the heels from pressure, friction, or injury. Particularly for individuals who are at risk of developing heel ulcers, blisters, or other heel-related conditions. They are commonly used in healthcare settings, for people with limited mobility, and anyone experiencing heel discomfort.
These are soft, padded covers worn over the heel to prevent pressure sores or ulcers, particularly for those who spend extended periods in bed or in a wheelchair. Designed to redistribute pressure from the heel and prevent friction that can cause skin damage.
Soft Heel Bootees – A cotton cover filled with polyester hollow fibre to enevelope the foot, fits most sizes; simply fasten the straps to provide a comfortable fit. Machine washable – max. temperature 40°C
Delux Heel Bootees – The cool brushed nylon fabric limits perspiration while the superior deluxe memory foam internal padding reduces pressure risk. Spot wash and air dry only.
