Duoderm extra thin dressing

Duoderm extra thin dressings are designed to reduce the risk of further skin breakdown due to friction. DuoDERM^® Extra Thin Dressing can be used as a primary hydrocolloid dressing for dry to lightly exuding wounds.

This is a flexible waterproof dressing used to cover your burn/scald and reduce infection. When in contact with the wound, Duoderm forms a gel-like covering which can remain untouched for several days, but will need changing if leakage occurs.

Because DuoDerm essentially creates a moisture barrier, they should not be used on people with infected bed sores. Under normal circumstances, wounds covered with DuoDerm are likely to develop a strong odour after several days. The odour is consider to be a normal part of of the product.

Available in two sizes 5 x 10cm or 10 x 10cm – supplied in packs of 10.   Flexible dressing and waterproof.
