Foam Swab Sticks
Foam Swab Sticks are ideal for wound cleansing, general patient cleansing and the bathing of delicate areas. Another popular use for this swab is during mouthwashes in oral hygiene procedures. It is also used for moistening lips and cleaning the mouth for Nil-by-mouth patients or those experiencing oral dryness.
They are often used in hospital or nursing home settings for patients who cannot use a regular toothbrush or have limited mobility.
Foam tipped swab sticks include a 10cm polystyrene handle with a green foam sponge head which is securely attached using a non–water–based adhesive. These items are disposable, latex free and non-sterile, packaged in bags of 5 swabs.
