Finding products
Products from our comprehensive catalogue are organised into categories. There are several ways to find the product you need:
Site navigation
Use the navigation on the left hand side of each page, or the graphics in
the centre of the home page, to access the appropriate category.
When you have chosen a category you will see a list of sub-categories and
products that fall within it.
Sub-category links are green. If you click on a sub-category link, a
list of all products in that sub-category will be displayed.
Product links are grey. Click on a product link for further details
about the product and the opportunity to order the product online.
Search
You can search by key words or by product number if you know it.
You can type the details into the Search box at the top right of the screen and click the Go button alongside to search our online catalogue - all products that satisfy your search criteria will be listed.
A-Z
The A-Z pages list all products in the database in alphabetical order. You can access the A-Z pages by clicking on the A-Z link in the left hand navigation on any page. Choose the appropriate letter from the list at the top of the A-Z page.
Registering and Logging in
You do not have to register or log in to use our site. However if you intend
to order from us regularly it may be beneficial for you to do so. If you
register, our secure ordering system remembers your last delivered address
and any previous orders you have made. This makes it easier for you to
reorder items.
You have the opportunity to register whenever you order a product from our
website. To register, you need only supply a password along with your
delivery details.
When you return to the medipost.co.uk website, click the Log In button at
the top of the screen and supply your email address and password to log in.
When you are logged in, our system will recognise you and print a Welcome
Back message in the top right of the screen. When you are logged in, you
can view your previous orders by clicking the Order History button at the
top of the screen.
Ordering
Via the web
You can order via our website using our secure ordering system. Our
ordering system is secured by a Thawte Secure Server Certificate, which
means any data you provide is encrypted.
To order via the web, find the product(s) you would like to purchase. On
the product detail page, specify the quantity and click the Add to Basket
button. The contents of your shopping basket will be displayed. You can
update the quantities of each item on this page, or remove items entirely
from your shopping basket.
You can continue shopping by clicking the Continue Shopping button, or click
the Proceed to Checkout button to proceed with your order.
On the Checkout screen, you must provide delivery details. If you have
logged into the site, these details will be completed for you. You can edit
any of these details if necessary.
If you have not logged into the site, you will be asked if you would like
to register by supplying a password. You do not need to register to use
our site or place orders.
You can choose from the following payment methods:
Credit/Debit Card: to pay by credit/debit card, choose Credit/Debit from the dropdown list. Your details will be encrypted and sent to the medipost ordering team
Account: if you are a Medipost account holder, choose Account from the dropdown list. You will be asked to supply your account number.
Invoice: if you would prefer to be invoiced, choose invoice from the dropdown list.
Your order will not be submitted until you click the Submit Order button.
When your order has been submitted successfully, you will see a confirmation message.

Fax orders can be made at any time of day or night and will be processed as
soon as possible after receipt.

Returns
If you wish to return any item, please ensure that it is well packed and is
returned, unused, within 7 days of receipt. Please quote your customer
reference number and invoice number.
In the interests of hygiene, we are unable to accept for return any items
of a personal nature. This does not affect your statutory rights.
(A handling charge may be levied for goods ordered in error)
VAT exemption
Customers wishing to claim exemption from VAT on goods purchased must
enclose the documents required by customs and Excise with their order.
A VAT
exemption form is available here. Please print this form, then
complete and sign it, and return it with your order.
Please make sure that items are eligible for exemption before ordering.
VAT exempt items are clearly marked on the product details pages of our
website. The Medipost ordering team will confirm your eligibility for
VAT exemption on each order you place.
